FAQs
Q: What are polymer clay earrings?
A: Polymer clay is a type of modeling clay that is made from vinyl (plastic). Keeping this in mind, I try to be as eco-friendly as possible, so I save all my scrap clay or one off broken pieces. The clay is baked in the oven in order to be cured.
Q: Are the earrings heavy?
A: Not at all! Once cured, polymer clay is very lightweight. Each pair of earrings, depending on the style, are about 2-5 oz. These earrings are super comfortable. You are able to wear them all day without any discomfort.
Q: How do I clean my earrings?
A: To clean them, buff gently with a small amount of soap and water. You can also use rubbing alcohol or acetone. Keep your earrings away from solvents like hair spray, nail polish remover, or cleaning products.
Q: How durable are the earrings?
A: They are quite durable. Polymer clay when baked should have a slight amount of bend to them. With this being said, avoid bending or dropping them. They are durable, but not unbreakable! Take your earrings off when sleeping or swimming, and keep them away from heat!
